Role Overview

Position: VP, Business Development

Objective: Open new business opportunities, close deals, and drive growth in the healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospects, all the way from door opening to closing commercial opportunities with healthcare enterprises, payers, and partners.
• Develop and refine go-to-market strategies, working closely with Product and R&D to align market feedback with product development.
• Build and nurture relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, including executives and innovation leads.
  

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• 10+ years in business development, partnerships, or sales in healthcare SaaS or digital health startups.
• Proven track record in early-stage go-to-market negotiation, especially within the payer space.
• Strong network in healthcare to facilitate quick sales and partnership development.
• Background in venture-backed startups is an advantage.
  

Skills:

• Hands-on closer with the ability to craft compelling business cases.
• Strong tech acumen and ability to sell evolving technology solutions.
• Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including payers and virtual care.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively.
• Adaptable and flexible, with exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills.
